My name is Jorge Enrique Ramirez
Gallardo. I live in rural area of Guamo. I studied philosophy in the Seminary immaculate Mary and now I’m philosophy teacher. I have a small farm producing
the fruit of the mango and I traded in different
cities. I'm married
and with my wife have
a beautiful daughter. She is sixteen
years old and is
an English teacher in an elementary
school. My other work I do as a school
teacher at Our Lady of the Rosary Espinal-Tolima. In this school I teach
philosophy area, since sixth grade till eleventh grade. I love the philosophy but I love the English, too. Because they are my favorites knowledge. I love classical music and I'm always talking to people.
My favorite hobby is reading, watch
films and television documentaries
such as History, Discovery,
and National Geographic. My mother lives with us and I love to prepare chocolate,
because she likes it when I prepare
it. Finally, I want
to tell you that the English is a personal challenge and I trust that I sure
I achieve this goal with the help of
God and with the help of my tutors and peers.
I wish you all success. Best wishes.

Brief Summary
Chapter 1: Basic
concepts:
Assessment (Burhan/Kizlyk) is a process by which
information is obtained relative to some known objective or goal. It is one of the techniques for collecting the
data or scores. It can be used with other techniques such as observation and
interviews. Assessment is a broad term that includes testing. A test is a special form of assessment. All
tests are assessments, but not all assessments are tests. We test or assess to
determine whether or not an objective or goal has been obtained
Measurement (Kizlik) refers to the
process by which the attributes or dimensions of some physical object are
determined. We measure, we generally use
some standard instrument to determine how big, tall, heavy, voluminous, hot,
cold, fast, or straight something actually is.
Evaluation. Evaluation seems to have the broadest
coverage. Burhan defines evaluation as the process of obtaining information and
using it to form judgments which in turn are to be used in decision making. Evaluation
is perhaps the most complex and least understood of the terms. Inherent in the
idea of evaluation is "value."
When we evaluate,
what we are doing is engaging in some process that is designed to provide
information that will help us make a judgment about a given situation.
